4th September 2008
Once again a break in the weather was organised and we
stayed dry until 2 miles out from the planned stop by the
River Severn at The Red Lion (by Wainlode Hill). Knowing
how many calories are in beer I made sure we earned our
pint by taking everyone up the hill before turning round
at the top for a very quick descent back to the pub.
Having forgotten to point out our destination, (oops!!!),
I got called all sorts of names when it was realised that
the climb up the hill was unnecessary. Never mind think
of what it did to our fitness.
