Welcome to Octobers newsletter. The nights are drawing in
and summer has long gone so there is no excuse not to get
in the gym and burn off those calories. Try this months
biking challenge for a non impact calorie burning activity.

Congratulatios
to Pauline who completed pushing John around the Great
North Run at the end of last month.
Pauline trained hard over the last few months and it all
paid off completing the half marathon in 2 hours 54
minutes.
Placed 34,200th out of 54,000 which is awesome and they are
already keen for next year.

Let us
know who you would like to bring to the gym, take a free
guest visit flyer then book a time and date for them to
visit the club, simples.
If they sign up for the year after their weeks membership
you will become a premier member and receive a £10 next
voucher.
Exercise of the
month:
Vibration
Platform Plank: Hold as long as you can and increase time
each visit.
Core stability
Kneeling in front of the vibration platform, place your
forearms onto the platform, with your toes on the floor,
keep a neutral spine and lift your knees off the floor.
Hold this position, ensuring your lower back doesn’t
dip or arch. Hold for 60 seconds.
Monthly
Challenge:
This
months challenge is in awareness of Breast Cancer, clock up
as many miles in the month of October on the Bikes. Bronze
star for 50 miles Silver star for 75 and a Gold star for
100 miles so get pedalling.

Last
months challenge was so popular many members are doing it
again. Next months challenge will be another different
circuit to get those heart rates up and muscles
working.
